Recurring characters

Episodes

During the buildup to the show's debut, the band was initially advertised as The JumpArounds. Commercials promoting the band under that name were in heavy rotation on Nick Jr. prior to the series debut. The change occurred approximately in mid July 2009. The name was revealed on the Nick Jr. website, then made its debut on television.

Promotion

Due to the success of the show, The Fresh Beat Band went on a small mini promotional tour making appearances at charity events and theme parks such as Sesame Place.

On July 7, 2011, the band made an appearance on The View to perform their single "Here We Go".

The band was originally supposed to return to New York City to perform at the Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day as part of the 16th annual tennis festival. The event ended up being canceled due to Hurricane Irene.

On September 24th, the band performed at Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play Concert in Washington DC.

On November 24th and 25th 2011, the band returned to New York City to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and teamed up with Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera for a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Live Tour 2012

The Fresh Beat Band will hit the road in February 2012 for the first time ever on a 15-week nationwide concert tour that will hit all major cities including NYC, LA, Chicago, and more. Cast members Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Shout(Thomas Hobson), Marina (Tara Perry), and Twist (Jon Beavers) will perform songs from Seasons one, two and three of the live-action series.

The tour was announced via Facebook by Tara Perry (Marina) and Thomas Hobson (Shout).
